For clarification on the FAFSA Night tonight, the meeting is NOT mandatory for parents and students. Tonight is an opportunity to receive more information and help on completing the FAFSA. However, completing the FAFSA is a requirement in order for students to graduate. The earlier the FAFSA is completed, the better the opportunity is for students to receive financial aid/grants for college.

The Free Application for Assistance and Federal Aid (FAFSA) allows students to qualify for federal grants and loans. The FAFSA is also a requirement for graduation. A representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will be joining us for any questions that students and/or parents have. Parents should bring their W2s, 2020 taxes, and student's social security number. Please feel free to reach out to the school counselors, Mrs. Arms and Mrs. Baugher, with any questions.

This school year...we started a class that we really didn’t have a name that perfectly describes what our students would be doing. We just knew the things we wanted to learn together. So...we have grown accustomed to calling it “The Class.” Tomorrow...we will begin posting some of the great work being done by Seniors Abby Stender & Heaven Williams and Sophomores Kaleb Flores & Lucas Power. Illini Central has a number of new teachers this year, so we decided to put together New Teacher Spotlights to allow our community learn more about these great new staff members. Some of them will be in written interview form while others will be posted to our new podcast called the Cougar Connection. We are excited to share our hard work with you. The Class #WeAreIC #BeJimmy
