ICHS Student Parking Permits
Student parking permits are available for purchase from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the ICHS office on the following days:
Seniors: Starting August 7th
Juniors: Starting August 14th
Sophomores: Starting August 17th

LOCATION CHANGE: The PreK screening will take place at ILLINI CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL. Please park in the main parking lot and enter through the main high-school doors. We look forward to seeing you Monday and Tuesday!
In an effort to meet the needs of students at Illini Central, we will be starting a Cares Closet this fall. Items can be dropped off to the middle/high school front office. Please see the attached flyer for specific details and consider donating!

The IC Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, July 20 at 7pm at the Mason City Public Library. Google Meet link: meet.google.com/qoy-jccv-nvd
On Thursday, August 3rd...the Mason County Health Department will be offering vaccines from 2 to 3 p.m. on a walk in basis.
Mason District is offering free Sports Physicals from 2 to 4 p.m. on a walk in basis as well.
It is important to note that grades 6 and 9 need full physicals to meet state requirements.
Both services will take place in the HS gym, we will be utilizing the locker rooms for the physicals.
This is the same day as New Student & In-Person Registration.

Here are some important dates regarding Back to School for the upcoming school year:
July 20th: Online Registration Begins (If you have forgotten your Skyward password...you can call the school at 217-482-5180 ext. 1105)
July 31st & Aug 1st: IC Pre-K Free Screening at 8 a.m.
August 3rd: New Student and In-Person Registration from 2 to 7 p.m. in both offices (HS/MS & GS)
August 7th: 6th Grade Orientation from 6 to 8 p.m.
August 9th: Freshmen Orientation from 6 to 8 p.m. (This is different from the original date on the invitation)
August 16th: Open House ICGS from 5 to 6 p.m. & ICMS/ICHS from 6 to 7 p.m.
August 17th: 1st day of Student Attendance

Just a reminder to our ICHS students...who need community service hours for graduation...this weekend is Easton's Sesquicentennial Celebration.
The organizers would appreciate help from students to supervise bounce houses.
The times are this Friday from 4 to 8 & Saturday from 10 to 8.
This would be an opportunity to get some of those community service hours out of the way.

Free Children's Books!
Illini Central has a number of children's books that we would like to find good homes as we begin shuffling spaces prior to the start of our new building project.
The school will be open on Wednesday, June 21st from 3:00-4:30 and again from 6:00-7:00. Please enter through Door A (the HS front door) during those times if you are interested.
