Biddy Ball Update
We are getting back to action this Saturday! We will plan on having Biddy Ball every Saturday from now through February, assuming we are able to navigate through COVID-19.
The times for this Saturday are:
Kindergarten-1st Grade: 9-10
2nd Grade 10-11
A full schedule will be handed out on Saturday, and also posted on Facebook next week as well. The T-Shirts were ordered in early December, but they are still on backorder. We hope to get those in next week.
I am still looking for more people to help “coach” beginning next weekend. Please let me know if you are able to help out in anyway. Especially looking for some help for the 2nd Grade age group.
Feel free to email me at rburks@illinicentral.org if you can help us out or with any questions.
Thank you and see you Saturday.

Good afternoon, Illini Central students & families!
We hope you enjoyed your Christmas break.
Just a reminder to make sure to charge your Chromebooks today. We want to be ready for the start of our 2nd semester tomorrow morning.

On December 31, we we notified by the Illinois State Board of Education that the new CDC/IDPH 5-day COVID guidelines do not apply to school districts. These are guidelines for the general public onlly. As a result, there are no changes to the number of days that a person with COVID or a close contact to a positive COVID individual will be excluded from school.

Graduates from Illini Central may apply to help fund their college or technical school tuition by utilizing the Illini Central Student Loan Fund. The money made available to graduates from Illini Central High School through the Student Loan Fund is a loan. As such, the committee expects the applicant to make repayment of the money borrowed as soon after leaving school as is feasible. The prompt repayment of this loan will assure future students of Illini Central the same privilege to take advantage of this fund. There is a limit of $500.00 per semester with the total amount granted not to exceed $3000.00. The Student Loan Fund committee will be meeting to approve student loans for the Spring 2022 semester. Students that are interested in acquiring a loan need to submit an application by January 3, 2022. Applications may be picked up in the high school office or on the school website at www.illinicentral.org under “For Students” on the main page or the high school page. Students must also submit a copy of their class schedule as proof of enrollment in college course. Please contact Jennifer Durbin at Illini Central High School at (217) 482-5180 or jdurbin@illinicentral.org with questions.

Merry Christmas to our students, staff & their families...past, present & in the future.
May you all have a blessed holiday season!

More information on Erin’s Law can be found at http://www.erinslaw.org/erins-law/. Please sign the letter that was sent home if you do NOT want your student to participate in these presentations. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the school counselors, Andrea Arms or Annie Baugher.
