The MS and HS PTO is bringing the Dish Pitch to the Fall Festival! We need dishes! Please bring any dishes, cups, vases, glasses, plates, etc. to the high school. Thank you!
Every day during advisory student tutors will be available to assist with English, math, & science. Students wishing to use the tutor room will check in with their advisory teacher & obtain a pass for tutoring. We hope this provides additional support to IC students!

The IC Covid Testing consent forms can be accessed at https://5il.co/x5l1. Testing is voluntary. If you wish to participate, please return a signed form to one of the school offices.

At IC, we are deeply saddened to hear about the car accident that happend early Sunday morning, and we know that some of you were friends with those involved. As this may be a hard time for some of you, we will be available to students for counseling on Monday from 11am-12pm, 2pm-4pm, and on Tuesday from 8am-3pm.

Graduates from Illini Central may apply to help fund their college or technical school tuition by utilizing the Illini Central Student Loan Fund. The money made available to graduates from Illini Central High School through the Student Loan Fund is a loan. As such, the committee expects the applicant to make repayment of the money borrowed as soon after leaving school as is feasible. The prompt repayment of this loan will assure future students of Illini Central the same privilege to take advantage of this fund. There is a limit of $500.00 per semester with the total amount granted not to exceed $3000.00.
The Student Loan Fund committee will be meeting to approve student loans for the Fall 2021 semester. Students that are interested in acquiring a loan need to submit an application by August 13, 2021 Applications may be picked up in the high school office or on the school website at www.illinicentral.org. Students must also submit a copy of their class schedule as proof of enrollment in college or technical school. Please contact Jennifer Durbin at jdurbin@illinicentral.org with questions.
The Illini Central Commitment to Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 takes place this evening. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Freshmen Orientation will take place prior to the ceremony. The orientation begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Class of 2025 and their in-person guests will be required to wear a mask throughout the duration of the ceremony.

Breakfast will not be served in the school building again this year. This sign up request is for students who want to receive a take home breakfast.

We are excited to invite Illini Central students to Meet the Teacher night on August 16th. This is a great time for students to drop off their school supplies and say hello to their new teachers.
In order to cut down on congestion in the hallways, we are going to break down open house into three time slots based on last names:
Last names A-G 6:00-6:20pm
Last names H-P: 6:30-6:50pm
Last names Q-Z: 7:00-7:20pm
Parents of students with multiple last names will be allowed to choose when they come.
We are excited to have you back to school!
Parking passes are available now for seniors in the office from 8am-3pm M-F. Juniors may purchase parking passes beginning Monday 8/9. Please bring your insurance card, vehicle registration, license and $25.

6th Grade Orientation - August 9th at 6pm

Class of 2025 Commitment to Graduation - August 11th at 7pm
There will be a COVID vaccination clinic on Tuesday, 8/10 from 2-6 p.m. in the ICHS gym. The Pfizer vaccination will be offered along with a small availability of Johnson & Johnson vaccination. The second dosage of the Pfizer vaccination will be offered on Tuesday,8/31, 3:30-7:30 p.m.
Parental permission is necessary for those students 12 and older seeking the vaccination. If you would like to register for this vaccination clinic, please call 217-482-3294.
Registration for new students and students needing to prove residency will take place on August 4th from 2-7pm in the building offices. Please bring appropriate documents. Information about required documents is on the website under "District Level Information" and "Registration" and then "Proof of Residency."
