This week Illini Central's first and second year teaching staff participated in a new teacher bootcamp with Todd Fox, Angie Ruebush, and Clint Weir.
Teachers engaged in a variety of activities that focused on strategies great teachers use to successfully manage a learning-centered classroom where all students thrive. One message resonated throughout the day: Love First, Teach Second.
With these new tools in their teacher toolboxes, these teachers are ready to begin the school year strong! We are excited to have these new teachers on staff at IC!
The school year is drawing closer, and we are excited to welcome your students back! It is important to start the transition from the summer schedule to the school schedule so your student can start with their best foot forward. Consistent student attendance is a direct reflection of school success. We often get many questions about attendance. Attached is a Handbook Highlight of the attendance policies at Illini Central High School and Illini Central Middle School.

To access Skyward Qmlativ, simply visit the Illini Central website (www.illinicentral.org) and click on the Skyward link located under “Quick Links” on the homepage. We have since learned that families were accessing Skyward from various links on our website, and they should all be updated.
Only the primary guardian can complete registration for students, so if you are logging on and do not see an option to register your student, you will need to have the other guardian complete the registration.
Once Online Registration is completed, make sure to pay the school fees. From the main screen in Skyward, click on "Fees and Fee Payments" to see the fees for registration. From this page, you should see all the fees for all your students. There is no Athletic Fee this year, only registration fees. In the top right, there is a link to "Make Online Payment" if you choose to use a credit or debit card. If you choose to pay cash or check, you may do so in the office in person. If you have previously completed registration and had difficulties with RevTrak, it has been resolved.
If you experience any difficulties logging in to Skyward or completing online registration, please don't hesitate to call the school. Our staff is happy to assist you. Career exploration opportunity in healthcare available for 6th-8th graders!

Graduates from Illini Central may apply to help fund their college or technical school tuition by utilizing the Illini Central Student Loan Fund. The money made available to graduates from Illini Central High School through the Student Loan Fund is a loan. As such, the committee expects the applicant to make repayment of the money borrowed as soon after leaving school as feasible. The prompt repayment of this loan will assure future students of Illini Central the same privilege to take advantage of this fund. There is a limit of $500.00 per semester, with the total amount granted not to exceed $3000.00.
The Student Loan Fund committee will meet to approve student loans for the Fall 2026 semester. Students interested in acquiring a loan must apply by July 1st, 2026. Applications can be accessed here:
