Last night, the 8th grade Lady Cougars advanced to the Regional Semi-Final with a 25-12 & 25-15 win. Tonight, they head back to Mt. Pulaski to take on Springfield Blessed Sacrament. 1st serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wishing the Lady Cougars well this evening. #WeAreIC

I was joking with Kyndel that we were going to change the name to The Kyndel Arthalony Sports Network. She has been named to both the AP & the IBCA All-State 2nd Teams along with her All-Conference honors. Tomorrow, she shoots to the be The Queen of the Hill in Illinois. You can watch Kyndel shoot in person at Redbird Arena in Normal, on TV or online at 12:30. Kyndel will be escorted out of Mason City by a firetruck tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. & will follow one through San Jose on her way to Normal. If you get a chance...help us send her off. This evening, Kyndel Arthalony advanced to the Final 4 shooters in the IHSA Class 1A Three-Point Showdown. She will shoot again tomorrow between the two Semi-Final games of the State Tournament at approximately 12:45. If a link is available...I will post a link to watch tomorrow morning. The girls will be recognized prior to the 7th grade match at approximately 6 p.m. The 7th & 8th grade matches will follow. Tonight...we have 3 teams in action. The Lady Cougars play in the IHSA Regional Semi-Final v. Havana in Mason City. The tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. It would really be nice to see a packed house as we take on a Mason County rival. The Cougars head to Springfield Lutheran for a non-conference game with the Crusaders. The ICMS volleyball teams travel to Chester East Lincoln for their matches. The 6th grade match begins at 5 p.m. The 7th & 8th will follow. Wishing all of our teams well this evening. #WeAreIC

Tonight, both of the ICHS Basketball teams are on the road. The Cougars head to Greenview for a Tomahawk Conference game with the Bulldogs. JV tip at 6 p.m. The Lady Cougars wrap up the regular season with a trip to Raymond for a game with the Lincolnwood Lady Lancers. Fun night in Mason City... Recognized our terrific Seniors as well as Kyndel Arthalony's amazing achievement from Monday night....and the Lady Cougars won 45-21 vs. Mt. Pulaski. #WeAreIC
