ICMS Cross Country season is quickly approaching.
Official practice will begin on Monday, August 3rd at the IC Track from 8 am to 9:30 am.
Please make sure that you have scheduled any sports physicals prior to the first practice, as they are required to participate in middle school sports.

Due to changes by the IHSA, the Boys Basketball Parent/Player Meeting has been rescheduled.
The IHSA has moved its annual No Contact Week to June 29 – July 5, which now includes team meetings. To remain in compliance with this new initiative, we have moved our meeting to:

Please park in the West parking lot when you arrive.
This meeting will provide players and parents with an opportunity to meet our new Head Boys Basketball Coach, Fred Jackson, and our new Athletic Director, Brodie Flaherty.
During the meeting, Coach Jackson will discuss the upcoming summer schedule, team expectations, and goals for the program.
Please note that this meeting is not mandatory, but all players and families are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program and the plans for the season.

A variety of past uniforms, to include but not limited to the following Cheer, Poms, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Track, Volleyball & Cross Country.
Over time, uniforms have been misplaced, come up missing or damaged, so a full team set might not be available.
Most jerseys/tops will be $2 & shorts will be $1. Some special pricing will be listed on specific items.

ICMS Track & Field Record Plates - Free to those who are listed. The record plates have been removed from the plywood. (We are working on a plan to display the track & field records for both middle & high school near the outdoor concession stand of The Cougar Center.)

While Illini Central has a long and proud history in the Sangamo, it is important for school districts to periodically reflect on past practices and consider whether current structures continue to best serve our students.
As enrollment patterns, travel considerations, and competitive balance evolve, the Board and administration are reviewing options that may provide the best long-term opportunities for Illini Central student-athletes and activity programs. At this time, no final decision has been made.
