Illini Central 8th Grader Brody Folkes was selected to participate in the All-State Junior High Classic this weekend. Today, Brody will compete in a couple of shooting events...the 3 point contest & a hotshot competition. He will practice with his All-Star team as well. Tomorrow, the All-Star games will take place at Dunlap Valley Middle School at 3 p.m. If Brody's team wins 3 p.m. game, they will play again at 4:30. The Championship game is scheduled for 5:30 for the two teams that are left at the end of the day. Let's reset...The Cougar Basketball game that was scheduled for last night...which we thought might get played tonight...has been cancelled. We were going to honor our Seniors in between the JV & Varsity game. Tomorrow...we will begin the IHSA Regional v. South Fulton. This game will begin at 4 p.m. in The Cougar Den. There are specific IHSA rules that have to be followed when hosting a Regional game. We will be honoring our Seniors following the Regional game. This will allow the Seniors & their families to take photos without being rushed prior to the game with the Rebels. We are excited to see a full gym tomorrow to cheer on the Cougars as the Regional begins AND we honor those Seniors who have worked hard over the past 4 years. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

The high school boys basketball game scheduled for tonight is canceled. We will honor our seniors tomorrow after the Regional game. That game begins at 4:00 pm. The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight will be held at 7:00 pm at the Mason City Public Library.

Hello Cougar fans... We have a number of weather-related items to bring to your attention today. The Lady Cougars basketball game that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled. There is no practice. There will be no volleyball practice today. There will be HS Boys Basketball practice today from 3:00-4:30. The Sangamo/IPC Shootout scheduled for tomorrow is still expected to be played. We have also added a couple of games to the calendar for next week: 6th Grade volleyball will play Monday at 4:00 against WLB in Easton The ICHS Girls Basketball team will take on Mt.
