IC schools have lifted the soft lockdown. Pre-K transportation will resume, but may be a few minutes late. All other school activity has resumed as normal.
The morning Pre-K dismisses at 10:30. Bus service will be delayed until the soft lockdown is lifted. We will notify parents via text when this occurs.
Illini Central schools are currently in a soft lockdown. There is not a threat to the school, students or staff. This is at the request of the Mason City Police Department in response to actions they are performing in the community.
This past Saturday...the ICMS Track & Field team competed in the IESA Sectional meet with athletes having a chance to advance to State.
Here are our kids who advanced & will travel to State this weekend:
7th grader Laney Anderson who finished 1st in the 400.
7th grader Carter Flairty who finished 1st in discus.
7th graders Carter Flairty, Jackson Shaffer and 6th graders Kyrazz Thompson and Jace Toland who finished with a state qualifying time in the 4x200 relay.
Congratulations to Laney, Carter, Jackson, Kyrazz & Jace! We are proud of you.
Due to last night's rainfall...both the Lady Raider Softball game & the Cougar Baseball game scheduled for today have been postponed.
The girls will still be having practice after school.
We will make-up dates when they become available.

This afternoon...the Illini Central Middle School Scholastic Bowl team looks to advance to State as they compete in the IESA Sectional in Brimfield.
Our kids' afternoon begins at 4:30 with a match v. Elmwood. They will also be taking on Virginia & Carthage.

2023 Lady Cougar Volleyball Camp will run May 30-June 2 in the ICHS Gym.
The camp is open to students currently in grades Kindergarten-7th grade. The HS Volleyball Staff will be hosting the camp, and many of the HS players will be working as well!
Cost is $25 to attend and will include a t-shirt.

The #1 seeded ICMS Scholastic Bowl team heads to Greenview this afternoon for the IESA Regional.
Our kids compete at 4 & 6 p.m. The Regional Championship match will begin at 7 p.m.

The Cougar Baseball team travels to PORTA for their Sangamo Conference game with the Bluejays. 1st pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

2023 Illini Central/Greenview Girls Basketball Camp
May 22nd - 23rd after school from 3:15 - 5:30 PM
Open to any Illini Central or Greenview girl entering 1st - 8th grade for the 23-24 school year

2023 Cougar Camp will take place from June 5th through June 9th in the ICHS Gym. The camp is open to both boys and girls entering grades 1st through 12th. The HS Boys basketball staff will host the camp, and several members of the HS team will be working as well.
Cost is $40.00 and includes a camp T-Shirt along with various other prizes throughout the week.
Forms were sent home in the GS, and are available outside of the MS/HS office as well. The camp is open to ANYONE, including those that don't live in the IC school district.
