It's a full schedule of practices next week for ICMS Fall Sports.
Both ICMS Softball and ICMS Cross Country will practice from 8:15-10:15 next week. ***This is a slight change in time***

Tuesday, August 3rd at 6 p.m. Illini Central will be holding the Fall Sports Meeting for parents & athletes. At this meeting, parents & athletes will be able to complete all of the forms to participate in sports during this school year. The meeting will also provide a time for the IC coaches to meet with their athletes' parents.
This meeting is for all Fall sports, including ICMS Girls' Basketball. There will be two other meetings held later this year for Winter and Spring sports.
All athletes must have an up to date physical on file at the school before they can practice.

We have more sports set to begin at ICMS next week. Both ICMS Baseball and ICMS Cross Country will begin practice on Monday, August 2.
The cross country team will practice from 8-10 am every day next week in an effort to beat the heat.
ICMS Baseball will have practice from 3-5 pm all next week.
Athletes will need to have an updated sports physical to be able to participate.

Two of our summer school bus routes will continue to be combined for the remainder of this week. As a result, the pick up and drop off times may be delayed for students who live in Mason City and San Jose.

Yesterday...in the heat...The Illini Central Boys' Track & Field team competed in Sectionals at Milikin.
Our Top 10 finishers were Sophomore Zachary Entwistle with 8th place in the shot put & Freshman Zachary Golden with an 8th place finish in the 3200.
Congratulations...we are proud of your hard work!

Today...Illini Central Sophomore Belle Kelly represented the Cougars at the IHSA State Track & Field meet.
You may now start calling her...All-Stater Belle Kelly! She placed 8th in the high jump earning this honor.

Congratulations to The Illini Central Girls' Track & Field Team! The following girls scored points in the sectional meet today.
Belle Kelly won the high jump clearing a height of 5'0.
Madison Hughes finished 4th in the 100 hurdles.
Other Top 10 finishes were Belle Kelly 8th place in the 100 meter dash and Katie Doyle was 9th in the 300 meter hurdles.
Congratulations to all 3 girls on a great season and Good Luck to Belle next week at the State Track & Field meet in Charleston.

1st pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
