Youth Basketball Programs!
3rd-5th Travel Basketball: Forms for travel basketball for 3rd to 5th graders have been sent home. Please return them as soon as possible. Teams will be registered to play in the Athens League, with additional games scheduled. Travel will include areas such as Athens, Havana, and Lincoln. Practices will begin early October, with the schedule currently pending.
K-5th Winter Biddy Basketball Program: Additionally, forms for the winter biddy basketball program, starting December 5, 2026, will be sent home. This program will now include players from kindergarten through 5th grade, providing more exposure to the sport for those who may not be ready for travel basketball. The program aims to develop fundamental skills, enhance basketball IQ, and foster a love for the game!
We are thrilled to collaborate with both the ICHS basketball teams to make these programs a reality! Looking forward to a fantastic season of youth basketball!
