Middle School Baseball Practice Start Date Middle School students entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades are invited to participate in the 2024 Fall baseball season. Middle School baseball practice will start on Wednesday, August 7th from 10:00 am - 12:00pm at the school’s baseball field (if it rains we will be inside). Make sure you have an updated physical handed into the High school office or given to Coach Thomas that day, plus the activity fee has also been paid, this must be completed in order to participate in practice. Proper baseball attire please: Hats, t-shirts (short or long sleeved) no cut offs, baseball pants and proper footwear for baseball activity. I am excited for this upcoming season and look forward to teaching the game of baseball to our future baseball stars. Sign ups have started for Lady Cougar Volleyball Camp. The camp will be open to students currently in grades K-7. Forms were sent home with the ICGS students. A couple of weather related Illini Central Sports updates... Illini Bluffs has cancelled the high school track & field meet in Glasford due to the forecast in their area. The Cougar Baseball game in Forsyth is still on, but the start has been moved up to 3:30. The Lady Raider Softball game v. Heyworth is still on with a 4:30 1st pitch. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

On Monday, a tragic bus accident took place involving staff and students from the Rushville-Industry school district. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims of this horrible tragedy and we want to help. Tomorrow, Thursday March 13th, we will be hosting a Hat Day at Illini Central to raise money for the families of those involved in the accident. Students can donate $1 or more to wear a hat to school that day. All of the proceeds will be given to the families of the victims. Middle School and High School students can make their donations in the gym before school and receive a sticker to show they have made a donation. Grade School teachers will collect the money from their students in the morning. Thank you for your support.

IC schools will dismiss on Wednesday, 1/31/24 at 11:30 am.  A Pre-K activity is planned from 8-10:30 am at the West Campus building for both morning and afternoon students. There is no bus transportation for Pre-K students and parents are welcome to attend.
