This is a reminder that Illini Central schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Friday, October 30,2020. Staff will be involved in school improvement activities during the afternoon. There will be no lunch service on Friday.

Just a reminder that the October meeting of the Illini Central Board of Education will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the Grade School Library. The public can attend the meeting, though capacity is limited to no more than 50. Parents/Guardians of Illini Central Students: Beginning Monday October 19th, 2020 Illini Central will transition from the current hybrid learning schedule to the full in-person instruction schedule. We will begin serving lunches on this date. We will administer prescription medication to those students who require it during school hours. Morning medications will still be required to be administered at home. A signed physician's order that includes your student's name, medication name, dosage and other instructions needed is required. Blank forms can be found on the District website under Medical/Nurse office forms. We ask that anyone dropping off medications please do so at the MS/HS entrance. With parent-teacher conferences tonight and tomorrow night, there will be no remote learning in the afternoon on these two days. We will not have school on Friday 10/9 or Monday 10/12. We will resume the 11:30 schedule with afternoon remote learning on 10/13.

Reminder: Illini Central teachers will be participating in school improvement activities during the afternoon of September 30, 2020. On Wednesday, we will dismiss school at 11:30. There will be no online learning activities in the afternoon.

The IC Board of Education approved an extension of the blending learning schedule (11:30 in person) through Friday October 16. For more details, please view the story on the "News" section of the IC website.

An individual at the IC Pre-K program has tested positive or is presumed positive for COVID-19. The Pre-K program will be closed through October 7 as we work to contact trace and quarantine individuals. Only the Pre-K program will be closed. IC students K-12 will continue with in-person instruction as the case was isolated at the Pre-K building.

Illini Central will still be having Parent/Teacher Conferences this Fall. Parents and guardians will be able to make an appointment with each of their student’s teachers, including Electives/Exploratory classes. Due to COVID-19, we are conducting conferences differently than we have in the past. All Conferences will be done via Zoom, a Google Meet session, or over the phone. Conferences will be held during the following times: Wednesday, October 7th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, October 8th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Below you can find a link with instructions on how to sign up for conferences. Illini Central schools will return to in-school instruction beginning tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, 2020. All buildings, including Pre-K, will be open for students. Thank you for your cooperation over these past two days.

During the remote learning days of Tuesday 9/15 and Wednesday 9/16, meals will be provided to those students who are currently signed up for the service. Meals may be picked up at the school in west parking lot by Door K between 10:30am and 12:30 pm.
