Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl from Illini Central or Greenview interested in playing girls' basketball this season can email Coach Wherley at twherley@illinicentral.org, so he can get you the paperwork. We start practice this week & would love to have you be a part of the team. Congratulations to the HS Golf team tonight for picking up a pair of wins to move to 3-1 on the year. Kase Renken was second overall with a 40 and Brendin Folkes and Mireya Francis tied for 4th with a 42. Great job guys and girls! #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

In Illini Central Sports today...we have two events on the schedule. The Illini Central Golf team hosts a match with Auburn, Lutheran & Midwest Central at Four Willows. Tee time is 4:00 p.m. The Lady Cougar Volleyball team gets the regular season started with their matches v. Tomahawk Conference rival, the Lady Panthers from Delavan. The JV match begins at 5:30 p.m. In the past, Delavan has broadcasted their matches on their YouTube Channel. I am not sure that will be the case this year. The ICMS Baseball team heads to Williamsville for their game with the Bee Bees. 1st pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The ICMS Cross Country team hosts their 1st home meet of the season as we dedicate our track in honor of Coach Jimmy Newell.
