ICMS Baseball tryouts will begin on Monday, August 1 from 9-11 AM. These tryouts will take place at the HS Baseball field and they are open to boys from both Greenview and IC that are entering 6th-8th grade. ICMS Cross Country practice will begin on Monday, August 1st from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. We will meet on the pavement behind the modulars off the west parking lot. There will be no tryouts, but would still like to invite the opportunity for any student (5th-8th this fall) to join us. Runners will need to have an updated sports physical prior to practice. ICMS Softball Tryouts will begin on Monday, July 25 from 5:00-7:00 PM. That will be the time of tryouts the entire first week. Tryouts are open to 6th-8th grade girls at Illini Central or Greenview. These will be held at the softball diamond by the bus shed. Players need to have an updated sports physical to tryout. On Thursday night, the 1st Annual Illini Central/Greenview Girls' Basketball Camp came to a close. We had a great 4 days of camp working with these young ladies! The future is bright for our girls' basketball coop! Thank to all of the kids who attended & the high school girls who helped!

It is Senior Day for our own Leah Boehm & Jenna Bowman as the Lady Raiders take on Mason County rival...the Lady Ducks from Havana. 1st pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m. with the Seniors being recognized at 9:45. We are very happy that Leah & Jenna were able to represent Illini Central in our coop with Midwest Central and thankful they were able to have a Senior Softball season!

Today, Illini Central Middle School 7th grader Ephraim Newton will compete in the IESA State Track & Field Meet at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria. Ephraim qualified in the 1600m by winning the mile at the New Berlin Sectional Meet last Saturday...breaking his PR & will run in the 98th event of the day. We are proud of Ephraim.
