Alliance Community Bank of Mason City and Illini Central High School are pleased to present Morgan Peterson with the September Student of the Month Award. Morgan receives an Amazon gift card from Alliance Community Bank and an Amazon gift card from the Illini Central High School faculty for demonstrating outstanding character.
Morgan is the daughter of Ashley and Joel Peterson.
Her classes this year include Dual Credit Medical Terminology, Advanced Spanish IV, Ceramics, Office Aide, Environmental Science, Advanced Biology, Dual Credit English Composition, and Ag Resource Management.
Morgan is involved in several organizations and clubs at Illini Central. She is the Senior Class President, a member of the Spanish Club, Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta, President of the Spanish Honor Society, Leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Varsity Volleyball Captain.
Morgan is also involved in the community as a church worship leader. She writes and performs music in her free time.
Morgan plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College and major in business. She will also play volleyball at Lincoln Land Community College.
