Juniors Hailee McMahan, Anna Parr, Elayna Snyder and Taylor Pherigo participated Wednesday in the Youth Advisory Council for state senator Neil Anderson.
Joined by students from other nearby school districts, they explored the Capitol building in Springfield, met their representatives in state government, and participated in a mock committee debate of a bill.
