Alliance Community Bank of Mason City and Illini Central High School are pleased to present
Cooper Thomas with the December Student of the Month Award. For demonstrating outstanding
character, Cooper receives an Amazon gift card from Alliance Community Bank and an Amazon
gift card from the Illini Central High School faculty.
Cooper is the son of Jeff and Tammy Thomas.
Cooper has shown great resolve and excellence this year while taking Fitness PE, Resource
Management, American Government and Civics, AP Calculus, Advanced Chemistry, Physics,
Spanish IV, and Dual Credit English.
Cooper is a member of the National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, Spanish
Club, FFA, Homecoming Committee, and Mu Alpha Theta. Cooper has received the following
awards: Illinois State Scholar and IHSA All-State Academic Team nominee.
Outside of school, Cooper is a member of the Pleasant Workers 4-H Club.
After graduation, Cooper plans to attend a four-year university and major in Biology (Pre-med).
