Students who are in-person for learning are expected to be at school each day. Students cannot pick and choose when to be remote. For in-person learners, please call the office by 9:00 if your child will not be at school due to illness or will be late because of an appointment. If a student who is supposed to be in-person is not actually at school, we have to make a phone call home. For remote learners, if your child is unable to be online for class due to illness or an appointment, please call the office by 9:00. If your family is planning a trip or scheduled day off, please let the office know at least one school day in advance. Students who began this semester as a remote-learner who wish to return to in-person learning may do so once this semester. Students who choose to go remote cannot return to in-person until next school year.

IC students will have a remote learning day tomorrow, Wednesday 2/17. All students are required to log in and participate. We will follow the same plan as today's remote learning activities.

On Thursday, February 11, 2021, the Illini Central Board of Education adopted a change in the reopening plan to allow limited spectators at extracurricular activities. Beginning Tuesday, February 16, Illini Central athletes will be allowed to invite two guests to attend home contests. Visiting teams will not be allowed to have guests. A ticketing system will be used. Coaches will distribute tickets to athletes on the day prior to the home event. Spectators will need to bring the ticket to the game. All spectators will be required to wear a mask and will complete a screening before entering the building. The gym will be emptied after each game so that the bleachers can be sanitized. A complete list of the rules can be f on the district website. Illini Central home events will continue to be streamed through YouTube Live.
