Illini Central Schools will dismiss on Wednesday, 2/22/23, at 11:30 for a school improvement planning day. There will be no Pre-K tomorrow.

ICHS requires all our students to participate in mock interviews before graduation. Recent graduates told us they wished we would have done it earlier in their high school careers. We are listening to their feedback and moving this to sophomore year, but we want to ensure that all of our juniors and seniors also get this experience. To make this happen, we need your help! We are excited to announce that online ordering for the 22/23 ICMS Yearbook is now available! The price for a Middle School yearbook is $12.00. We are partnering with HRImaging to directly order through their website: https://book.hrimaging.com/ Click on the blue “Order Now!” banner, type “Illini Central Middle School”, then enter the student’s first and last name to ADD TO CART. Ordering online is the preferred option, but there will be paper order forms available in the next week. ALL ORDERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN MARCH 3, 2023. The IC Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 at 5pm in the District Office, 222 North West Avenue, Mason City. The Google Meet link is meet.google.com/ofy-awdq-djx

Bus 5 has experienced a mechanical issue. We are redirecting another bus that will pick up these students. Students will arrive home later than normal. Students were not at risk, and all are safe. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Illini Central student, Destinee Thomas has made 200 hats by hand and has donated many of them. She donates them to local hospitals. Destinee is a blessing to everyone she knows and to all of the people who benefit from her kindness. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

We wanted to share some information about the Illini Central shuttle bus that runs after practices in the evening. Here is that shuttle schedule: Shuttle bus will leave front of High School at 5:05 Shuttle bus will then go to Easton to drop off at the post office at 5:13 then Pick up at Easton gym at 5:15. Shuttle bus will drop off back at Mason City at 5:25. Shuttle will then Drop off in San Jose at 5:40. If you have any questions...feel free to call the school at 217-482-5180. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

On December 11th, 2020...we lost the best. So on, Monday December 12th...we are asking you to wear flannel to honor our dear friend & coach...Jimmy Newell. ICMS will hold its first dance on Friday November 18th from 6-8pm in the cafeteria. The cost is $5. There will be snacks and drinks avaliable to purchase as well. Middle School dances are a casual event. Students may dress up, but it is not expected and the dress code must still be followed.
