Elayna Snyder, 8th grade, is the daughter of Melinda and Kevin Snyder of Mason City. There is a long list of sports that Elayna has participated in, including golf, basketball, volleyball, softball, track, swim team, and cheerleading.
Elayna’s favorite sports memory is qualifying for the IESA State Golf Tournament earlier this school year. In school, Elayna’s favorite subject is science and she also says that having science as her best subject is an interesting fact about her.
Her favorite movie is Top Gun: Maverick, and her favorite food is Buffalo Wild Wings. When asked for her favorite quote, Elayna said, “You can’t win unless you learn how to lose.”
ICMS wants to again congratulate Elayna on a terrific golf season and wish her well on the rest of her sports this year. You can find Elayna and her volleyball teammates on the court beginning in January.
