Morgan Peterson, 8th grade, is the daughter of Ashley and Joel Peterson of Mason City. Morgan has been a member of the ICMS golf team for four years, and also plays volleyball for the Lady Cougars.
Her favorite memory is qualifying for the IESA state golf tournament this season. In school, Morgan says that her favorite subject is English, and her favorite hobby is making music.
Morgan’s favorite food is anything that has to do with potatoes and her favorite movie is Trolls. Her favorite quote is actually from her dad and it is, “Do something, and see what happens.”
Morgan says that sports are important to her because, “I can focus on bettering myself through perseverance, determination, and endurance. One fun fact about Morgan is that she has been using the wrong pencil grip ever since kindergarten.
ICMS would like to congratulate Morgan on a great golf season, and also for her hard work and determination in school. You can catch Morgan out on the volleyball floor this Winter and on the golf course over the next four seasons in HS.
