Abbigail Tangman, 8th grader, is the daughter of Jicole and David Hickle of Mason City. Abbi is a member of the volleyball team at ICMS.
Her favorite sports memory is anytime that her team wins games, and her favorite subject in school is science. Abbi says that sports are important to her because, “They help me forget about my stress and have fun in the moment. I also make friends with girls on my team.”
When Abbi is not playing for the Cougars, her favorite hobby is playing volleyball. Her favorite movie is Wreck it Ralph and her favorite food is crab rangoon and shrimp.
Abbi says that her favorite quote is, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”-Walt Disney
A fun fact that Abbi shared is that Mr. Burks is her favorite teacher. ICMS would like to thank Abbi for her hard work and dedication to the volleyball team. Abbi and her teammates will begin regional play this week with the games taking place at Chester East in Lincoln.
