Athlete Spotlight - Kaitlyn Jones

Kaitlyn Jones, 8th grade, is the daughter of Josh and Jackie Jones of Easton. Kaitlyn has been busy while going to school at ICMS as she has participated in basketball, cross country, softball, track, and volleyball.

Her favorite sports memory is hitting a girl in the face during a volleyball game and breaking her nose. In school, Kaitlyn says that her favorite subject/class is history.

Kaitlyn says that sports are important to her because, “I get to share good sportsmanship with my fellow peers. Every sport I play you have to work as a team to accomplish what needs to be done. I have made many bonds with my teammates. The main reason sports are so important to me is because I get to be myself and give it all I have on either the field, court, or track.”

Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese, and her favorite movie is Nightmare on Elm Street. When Kaitlyn isn’t busy with sports, her favorite hobbies are playing sports or volunteering. Her favorite quote is, “Never a failure, always a lesson.”

One fun fact about Kaitlyn is that her and her family own a farm and she loves to show animals.

ICMS would like to thank Kaitlyn for all of her time and commitment to the various sports that she plays, and we look forward to following her career in HS.
