Ephraim Newton, 7th grade, is the son of Tony and Wesley Newton of Mason City. Ephraim has competed in basketball, cross country, and track as a student athlete at ICMS.
His favorite sports memory up to this point is when an opposing team hit a bird with a baseball. Ephraim says that sports are important to him because, “They keep me in shape and healthy.”
Ephraim says that his favorite class in school is Pre-Algebra, and his favorite hobby is running. His favorite food is a crunchwrap supreme, and his favorite movie is The Matrix.
ICMS thanks Ephraim for his hard work and dedication to sports here at Illini Central, especially in the running sports. We look forward to following his career and wish him the best in the future.
