As we approach the start of school on the 25th...we will be releasing videos this week to explain our plan for getting things going in all areas of our reopening.
Today's video explains our Technology plan.
In this video, Mr. Wherley discusses Chromebook distribution, the Hot Spot sign-up form & how to get tech assistance this school year as well as how to make sure you stay connected to Illini Central.

Included in this post is a form to make sure all students needing meals during our blended learning phase OR in case of school closure (going full remote) get those meals.
This will make sure our food service staff is getting enough food ordered and will be prepared to meet those needs in either case.
Of course families can call in to the school if they change their minds or opt out.
For instance, the ICGS teachers will hand out meals only to those signed up, so it’s important to be on this list to prevent bus delays etc.
Here is the link to the form: https://forms.gle/ib1PWwHGN35J8e2E7
If you have any questions, please call the school 217-482-5180 or send an email to illinicentral@illinicentral.org

A big thank you to everyone who dropped off Chromebooks, hotspots & text and library books yesterday.
We have heard from a number of people who couldn't make it during the day yesterday and we completely understand.
To offer a weekend day & time, I will be at the school this Saturday, May 30th from 9 to Noon for anyone who still has items to drop-off.
Since it will just be me, I will not be able to get personal student items for people who drop by. We are working on a plan to deliver those items in the near future.
Thank you.
Mr. Wherley

Thank you to all of the IC faculty and staff who have worked so hard over the past few weeks. We have adapted to a new learning environment practically overnight. We are providing meals to over 350 students. We are lucky to work with such dedicated people.

Governor Pritzker has extended the shelter in place order for Illinois until April 30. Remote learning will continue as planned.
