We have some exciting things happening here at the Pre-K! Our students are so excited to watch and learn about the life cycle of caterpillars. One of our students reminded me today that it will take the caterpillars two weeks to turn in to beautiful butterflies! Before that happens they will be moving outside to our new green house where they will be able to stay nice and warm. Of course our teachers had to try it out first to make sure it would be the perfect new home for our friends!

The Illini Central Board of Education approved the 2021-2022 school calendar at a special board meeting on Tuesday, March 2.

No Pre-K Class tomorrow Wednesday, February 24th 2021.
IC students will have a remote learning day tomorrow, Wednesday 2/17.
All students are required to log in and participate. We will follow the same plan as today's remote learning activities.

On Thursday, February 11, 2021, the Illini Central Board of Education adopted a change in the reopening plan to allow limited spectators at extracurricular activities. Beginning Tuesday, February 16, Illini Central athletes will be allowed to invite two guests to attend home contests. Visiting teams will not be allowed to have guests.
A ticketing system will be used. Coaches will distribute tickets to athletes on the day prior to the home event. Spectators will need to bring the ticket to the game. All spectators will be required to wear a mask and will complete a screening before entering the building. The gym will be emptied after each game so that the bleachers can be sanitized.
