We wanted to update you on a few events as we finish up the 2020-2021 school year.  First, we have scheduled the Commitment to Graduation Ceremony for August 11, 2021, due to space limitations and COVID restrictions.  We will be hosting this event in conjunction with Freshman Orientation.   Over the past few years, we have shifted the traditional promotion ceremony to one that focuses on success in high school, so the two events will blend for a more meaningful experience for students.  Students were sent a survey to their student email earlier this week to complete relating to these two events.

Due to the number of students being recognized, the annual awards ceremony will be in video format due to space limitations and COVID restrictions.  The video will be shared on the website and social media Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 7:00 pm.

High school graduation will be held in person at Illini Central High School on May 30th, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  This will be a ticketed event and not open to the public.  The graduation ceremony will be broadcast live at https://youtu.be/xaZDadpoKp8 for those unable to attend in person.  Due to the recent relaxing of restrictions, each senior will be allowed to bring twelve (12) guests to the event.  Seniors will receive 6 tickets during graduation practice.  Each ticket will allow two guests to enter the graduation ceremony.  Seniors must be present at graduation practice on May 28, 2021, at 1:00 pm to receive their tickets.  More details regarding the ceremony will be distributed to seniors at that time.

The last day for student attendance is May 27, 2021.  There will be no school on Friday, May 21, 2021.

We know there have been disappointments throughout this year, but please know we have not made decisions lightly.  We have kept the safety of the students and staff as our top priority.  Thank you for your patience.
