High School Science students invited the 1st Grade classes down to participate in an Earth Day Activity. The high school students helped the 1st graders create bird feeders and small greenhouses with recycled materials of toilet paper rolls and empty milk cartons.
1st graders were able to plant seeds in their greenhouse to watch them grow. It was a great opportunity for our older students to prepare an activity and work with our younger students.
A big thank you to Ms. Bruce, Mrs. Allen, and Mrs. Martin for taking time out of their busy day to bring down their 1st graders to work with us!
