Class of 2025

This year, The Class, would like to help recognize students who show what #WeAreIC means.

To us, #WeAreIC can be represented by many things. It can represent academic improvement, going above and beyond, positivity, selflessness , responsibility, respect, and many other things.

Mrs. Brock has recognized the Class of '25 for portraying what it means to be #WeAreIC.

Here is Mrs. Brock's full quote:

"The class of 2025 has already made an impression on Illini Central just in their short time as high schoolers.   Being a freshman always comes with its challenges, but after two years of remote/hybrid instruction, students were faced with some different obstacles while starting high school.  This year all students were brought back together and with that students had to work on appropriate social skills, in person learning expectations all while still dealing with some covid restrictions such as masks, limited choices and quarantine.   While the road to overcoming obstacles has been more bumpy for some rather than others, overall students seem to be finding their place again within the school setting.  Most recently the class of 2025 has really come together to brainstorm ideas to increase student motivation and involvement here at Illini Central.  This brainstorming session has led to the creation of a student PBIS committee to start implementing ideas and plans to hopefully continue to make a positive impact on all students here at IC.  And to top it all off recently, many students in the freshman class took it upon themselves to make sure their classmates had great birthdays!

To the class of 2025, I am so proud of you and how you continue to grow and mature daily, keep up the amazing work.  I can’t wait to see what all you accomplish during your high school career."
