We are excited at Illini Central Grade School to be able to incorporate recess back into our students' day starting on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Safety guidelines were used to create playground expectations and they will be enforced while students are using the equipment and black top areas. The Illini Central Board of Education approved the 2021-2022 school calendar at a special board meeting on Tuesday, March 2.

A reminder that Spring pictures will be held tomorrow , March 2 for pre-k-5th grade students. All remote students may come to the grade school foyer between 11:00-12:00 to have pictures taken.

IC students will have a remote learning day tomorrow, Wednesday 2/17.

On Thursday, February 11, 2021, the Illini Central Board of Education adopted a change in the reopening plan to allow limited spectators at extracurricular activities. Beginning Tuesday, February 16, Illini Central athletes will be allowed to invite two guests to attend home contests. Visiting teams will not be allowed to have guests.
A ticketing system will be used. Coaches will distribute tickets to athletes on the day prior to the home event. Spectators will need to bring the ticket to the game. All spectators will be required to wear a mask and will complete a screening before entering the building. The gym will be emptied after each game so that the bleachers can be sanitized. A complete list of the rules can be f on the district website.
