Ms. Bruce's 1st grade class recently studied the human body in the knowledge component of their reading curriculum. They learned about the five body systems: the skeletal system, the muscular system, the digestive system, the circulatory system, and the nervous system. Students then worked in small groups to create one of the five systems. They used materials like yarn, popsicle sticks, construction paper, and Q tips to create their system. They then labeled the main parts of each system. It was a fun, hands on way to wrap up their study of the body systems. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy
