Bayleigh Thomas, Junior, is the daughter of Julia and Dustin Thomas of San Jose. Bayleigh is a member of the ICHS Volleyball team and she also participates in racing.
Her favorite sports memory is her team winning their first game in 8th grade in three sets with coach Jimmy Newell. In school, Bayleigh says that her favorite subject is math.
Sports are important to Bayleigh because, “They push me to be a better person on and off the court.” Bayleigh says that her favorite movie is “The Miracle Season” and her favorite food is chicken strips.
When Bayleigh isn’t busy with volleyball or school, her favorite hobby is racing. Her favorite quote is from the late Jimmy Newell and says, “This is your team, make it as good as it can be!”
Bayleigh’s advice for future athletes is to “Never give up, no matter how hard times get.” After High School, Bayleigh plans to go to college to become a neurologist.
