Clay Butler, junior, is the son of Rachel Mulford and Shane Butler of Mason City. During his time at Illini Central, Clay has participated in both wrestling and baseball.
Clay says that his favorite sports memory is wrestling at Rocky Mountain Nationals, and his favorite subject in school is history. Clays participates in sports because, “They keep me active and makes me work hard for what I want.”
His favorite movie is 61* and his favorite food is wings. Clay says that his favorite hobby is playing baseball.
Clay says that his favorite quote is, “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”- Babe Ruth. After graduation Clay plans on becoming a welder or mechanic.
You can find Clay and his baseball teammates on the field in Mason City in the month of May. ICHS wants to thank Clay for his time and commitment that he puts into both sports and academics.
