Kase Renken, Junior, is the son of Kent and Nikki Renken of Mason City. Kase plays baseball at Illini Central and also competes on the golf team.
His favorite sports memory comes from the baseball field when he recorded a three-pitch inning. When he is not competing for the Cougars, Kase enjoys riding dirt bikes or anything else that has a motor.
Kase says that he enjoys playing sports because it, “Keeps me in shape and lets me spend time with my friends.” In school, his favorite subject is science.
Step Brothers is Kase’s favorite movie, and his favorite food is steak. When asked for his favorite quote, Kase said, “There may be someone who is more talented than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.”
After his time at Illini Central is done, Kase plans to continue his education in college. Illini Central would like to thank Kase for his time and efforts put forth in both sports, and we wish him well in his final two years here.
