Elijah Ripper, Senior, is the son of Janel Ripper and Chris Ripper of Mason City. Elijah is currently just one of two boys that compete on the HS Cross Country team.
His favorite sports memory at ICHS happened to occur on his birthday as he ran 3 miles in his first meet! His favorite class at school is LTEC Automotive, and Elijah hopes to become a licensed mechanic after graduation.
Elijah says that he enjoys sports because it, “Helps keep me fit.” When he is not running for the Cougars, his favorite hobbies include video games and cars.
The Fast and the Furious Movies (All of them) are his favorite, and his favorite foods include grilled hot dogs, brats, and Chinese. When asked for his favorite quote Elijah said, “The choice is yours.”
ICHS would like to thank Elijah for his participation in cross country this season, and his positive attitude during both competitions and practices. We would like to wish Elijah well in his future endeavors after high school.
