Last year was an exciting year at Illini Central Middle/High School. The Middle school has had success with the “We Are One” discipline program. Overall behaviors improved for the students in the class. We also observed a greater completion of daily assignments. The emphasis on positive peer pressure from students and staff has helped everyone achieve their potential.
We are looking forward to trying aspects of the middle school discipline program in the high school this year. Our emphasis will continue to be on positive choices made by the students and homework completion. One of the ways we would like to achieve a greater homework completion is through a more intense lunch and after school study hall program. I am excited for the year and look forward to working with the students, parents, and staff.
