| Education I graduated from the Western Illinois University with a BA in Elementary Education and from Illinois State University with a BA in Special Education. This is my 4th year as a middle school special education teacher at Illini Central. |

| Biographical Information I grew up in a little town not far from here called Manito, IL. I stayed there my whole childhood and graduated from Midwest Central (Forman). Midwest Central has had a friendly rivalry with Illini Central for years. Midwest Central is very similar in size and also a farming community. I loved going to a small rural school, and married a fellow Midwest Central (Forman) graduate. We have three beautiful children together. We have a 14, 11, and 2 year old that keep us very happy and very busy. We just moved our family to Easton in the summer of 2010. So we are now Cougars too! |

M.S. Scholastic Bowl News
Dear Parents, We have had a great season so far this year. We will be having our Scholastic Bowl Regionals on Wednesday, April 25th at Virginia. The times will be sometime in the afternoon/evening but have not been given to me yet. We will have practices after school until 5:00 on April 23rd and 24th. Track kids can practice until 4:00 and still make their home meet on those nights.
To honor our fantastic team, I would like to have our first ever 8th Grade/ Family Scholastic Bowl Night on April 27th at 6:00 to celebrate this year and just have some trivia fun together. Parents/ grandparents, and siblings are invited. We will honor our 8th graders that are moving on to high school next year. We will also be having a potluck of snack/ finger foods/ or desserts. Please bring a food item to share with everyone. I will provide drinks, plates, and silverware. The team is hoping to see if they can beat some of their family members in a friendly battle of the brains. It should be a lot of fun! Hope to see you there!
May 4th is the date scheduled for Sectionals. We have beat many of the teams in our Regionals already so keep this date open! We have a good chance of making it there. I will have more information after Regionals on this.
Thanks so much,
Tammy Bailey, MS Scholastic Bowl Coach
